USA - Doctor Who - Series 3 (The Runaway Bride and the 13 episode 2007 series
with Freema Agyeman as Martha Jones) are now distributed to Public TV stations
by BBC Worldwide Americas, not American Public TV. Series 4 also seems to be
available to buy - start date for Series 4 on Public TV stations is unknown. BBC
Worldwide Americas also distributes classic Doctor Who to stations.

If you're a PBS station airing Doctor Who and I don't have you listed - contact
me. If you're watching Doctor Who on a PBS station that's not on this list -
contact me AND tell me the day, time, and episode that aired so I can track
things down (some stations have websites where schedule information is -
lacking).

Now, I am confident that there are more stations with rights to Series 3 than
that. But these are the stations who have contacted me or scheduled the show.
Unlike previous years, we are in the dark till a station comes forward or new
Who appears in their schedules.

Series 2 is currently available to public TV stations in an American Public TV
package until March 31, 2010. For the Series 1 and 2 packages, stations have
bought the rights to cycle through the episodes 4 times. They are not required
to do so. American Public TV is no longer offering Series 1 - I do not know if
BBC Worldwide Americas will offer those stations to public TV stations now or
not.

2 Public TV stations currently have rights to air the classic Doctor Who run
(1963-1989), but not New Who. KBTC 28 Tacoma, WA is airing Peter Davison
episodes. WHRO 15 Norfolk, VA is airing Tom Baker episodes.

Due to production problems, there was not time to update this section of the

- 161 - "Second Hand Rumours" - A series of rumours intrigues our hosts. A list
of writers for the new Doctor Who series has been published. Lots of DVD
speculation. And the Miniscope looks at the Doctor Who work of Fiona Cumming.
- 162 - "Maloney Sandwich" - This episode was recorded early due to Warren's
trip to Japan. An introduction was added before its early release last night,
and the introduction discussed the passing of Barry Letts. In the body of the
show, fury from the deep of their souls at Matt Smith's first series being
officially counted as Series 1. International iPlayer issues. David Maloney is
the subject of the Miniscope.
Coming Soon:
-In the introduction, Steven and Chris mentioned the possibility of a Barry
Letts special. And as always with RFS, there is a secret project or two that
they could throw out at the world. Likely on a Wednesday.
-163 - "Warren Vs. MechaWarren" - Warren slips on something radioactive in Japan
and becomes a 10 foot monster, only for an evil scientist (who at last report
was *not* believed to be Adam Purcell with a dodgy mustache) to build a robot
version of Warren. The two Warrens fight and destroy Tokyo, with Greenpeace
planning to kill the winner and use the winner's body as an example of the evils
of nuclear power. Meanwhile, the remaining RFS hosts look at Chris Clough in the
Miniscope segment, and suspect they might be a bit vicious to him.

Trevor from Australia and Marty from the UK talk Doctor Who with themselves,
others, and teddy bears dressed as doctors. Now with a rock version of the

A wild, wandering podcast with Doctor Who and the other flavours of the moment
winding together roughly once every 2 weeks. The website's main focus is on
stories collected through the years.
Current:
Episode 55 - "Pick Of The Pits" - The Staggering team gives a look at
Quatermass, a concept that UK sci-fi fans are very familiar with and US/Canadian
sci-fi fans often have never heard of. The universe's biggest escape pod is
needed for the new Escape Pod Disc episode. The team look at Doctor Who
Magazine's poll of the Doctor Who stories. Feedback. And so forth. All in the
last Staggering episode where both digits are the same till episode 66.
Coming Soon:
Episode 56 - "We Always Miss The News" - Due out sometime this weekend, the
latest Staggering Stories was recorded on Monday night, when they knew that the
new Doctor Who logo was coming Tuesday, but had no clue what it looked like.

18. Full Circle. Jo! has a real life! This may be bad news for her ability to
review stories - this time they just got through Full Circle, with a Big Finish
audio waiting for later. Tony and Jo! also have an idea for reviewing the Sarah
Jane Adventures - kid-submitted reviews. (Two minute time lord rips his hair out
as everybody seemed to ignore a similar podcasting idea of his months ago.) The
first episode that has reached the drinking age in the UK.

Episode 20, which will probably get recorded in a few days, and be well aware of
the week's craziness. In the USA, this would be the episode who is counting the
days till it turns 21, can ditch the fake ID, and drink alcohol legally.

and Nat through the past and present of Second Life, and the Doctor
Who/Torchwood fan communities that exist therein. Also, feedback on previous

I don't have time to recheck right now, but Warren of Radio Free Skaro revealed

Androzani. First he goes a bit off format to have an excellent interview with
podcaster/radio host Steve Glosson, host of SHoE, Geek Out Loud, and the Big
Honkin' Show. Also, David is planning a get together with listeners at Gallifrey
21. Now, if I'm right about the hot tub he wants to meet at, he may have to
relocate the meeting to the somewhat cooler pool just a few feet away - my
memory is that the hot one is rather small. Rest assured, there is a detailed
review of The Caves Of Androzani in the episode.

Tom Dickinson begins a solo Doctor Who podcast effort with short shows on short
subject that get to the point, bulldoze through the point, back up to ground the
point down some more, then flee the scene before the police arrive.
Current episode - 4. Requiem For A Drama. Tom returns after 4 weeks away and
looks at shows that are cancelled before their time. Is it worth investing in a
show that might soon (or has already) been cancelled. Tom's view is similar to
mine (yes, it is worth it), but you're downloading Tom's show for his opinions
on this.

Big Finish podcasts at least once a month to discuss their Doctor Who and other
projects (Sapphire and Steel, Stargate (!), Dark Shadows, Bernice Summerfield,
etc).
Current episode - September podcast. The show gets a bit back to normal, with a
lack of celebrity guests. Upcoming news is announced. Thoughts are had. And I'm
sure a mug of tea was drunk somewhere. The Missing Season of Colin Baker stories
is about to hit. Judge Dredd audios are returning, along with the shocking
reason why they went away in the first place. These and other twists are covered
in the September Big Finish podcast.
